Northern Ontario angling presents a variety of opportunities for guests of Olive the Lake. In addition to the many back lakes in Marten River, Olive Lake is full of fishing spots and is the home lake for Olive the Lake. Olive the Lake features such species as Walleye Fishing(pickerel), Northern Pike Fishing, Smallmouth Bass Fishing and Perch Fishing. 

As a result of the many small sheltered lakes in our area, inclement weather is very rarely a concern. Fishing is truly enjoyable only when equipment failure is not a concern, and we maintain our aluminum boats to ensure safe, worry-free fishing.

Whether your preference is Bear Hunting or Moose Hunting in Northern Ontario, Olive the Lake is the place to go for your Hunting experience. We offer our housekeeping plan for bear hunts with an additional cost of $200.00 per baited stand, payable in advance. We also offer an American Plan click here for more details.

Our complete packages include the use of a boat and motor, as well as all fuel and bait, so you can enjoy fishing opportunities when you are not hunting.Moose Hunters on the housekeeping plan can rent boats and motors for an additional charge.

Our BMA (bear management area) is over 40,000 Acres in size. We cater to both

Rifle hunters and archery hunters. All our baits have tree stands from 15 to 75 yards.

Note: In Ontario it is not necessary to use a tree stand. You may stalk a bear or use dogs. Crossbows can also be used if they meet certain standards
