Well no waterskiiers, jet skies and no outside boats and the only people you will see on Olive Lake are those staying at the lodge or the two other cottages found on the lake.

Olive Lake, our home lake has Walleye Fishing, Northern Pike Fishing, Smallmouth Bass Fishing and Perch fishing. Walleye (pickerel is king at Olive the Lake and reigns supreme from the opening of season, through the summer and into the fall. The largest to date 14.9lb. Come and try to beat the Olive Lake lodge record. Northern Ontario Pike Fishing at Olive the Lake is hotspot for big pike, the largest to date 17.3lb. Come and try to beat the lodge record. Smallmouth Bass Fishing is a really exciting fish to catch at Olive the Lake. This summer fish fights harder than any fish it's size. The largest to date 6.3lb smallmouth. Pssssss! We could hear the loud hissing noise just as we were about to pull off the highway and onto the roadway leading to the fishing resort. Our ominous arrival at Olive the Lake Resort may have begun with a blown tire but there’s no doubt it let folks at the resort know that the Wegman brothers have made arrived! Knowing time was of the essence, I scurried over to the resort's boat launch and parked my truck and Nitro bass boat ready to launch just as the tire went completely flat. Right away, Bruce MacDonald ... the owner and resort guests Scott Primo and his wife Cindy came out to welcome us and ...even better- help to change the flat.
